Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. She is most well-known as anchoring CNN's morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a cohost of the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member the award-winning CNN coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. Bolduan worked as a Washington DC-based congressional correspondent covering activities in the US House of Representatives and Senate. As a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and events in the Congress, such as discussions to raise the federal debt limit and super committee discussion. Bolduan has worked as an associate reporter on general assignments, covering such reports like the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision in the case of Obamacare. She also covered the introduction of stimulus plans for 2009. In 2007 she became a part of CNN as a correspondent for the national with CNN Newsource. As a CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she reported breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports. Ealier she worked with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV.
