Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Then she appeared in several Broadway shows before becoming an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. The same year, She recorded her first album of music It's time for Tina. Louise was first seen on the screen in Hollywood as God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She played Griselda, a character in the film. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next role that she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up to play in the year 1964. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway as a somber character that reflected her reputation as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television shows like Supernatural or The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for her childhood and teenage years. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
